An Aircraft for the Berlin Museam
The former aircraft of the German VIP-Goverment Transport Group, the VFW614 G14, will go to the "Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin" (DTMB). G14 (ex. airforce registration 17+01, later N614GB) was dismantled at Copenhagen Airport in 2003 and shipped to the Lemwerder plant "Aircraft Services Lemwerder" (ASL).

The University of Oldenburg as the owner of the aircraft suspended their project of a ground simulator system.

Mr. Triesch, head of aviation dpt. of the Berlin Museum DTMB, confirmed the purchase of the G14. The aircraft will bei shipped to Berlin in november and then stored in the Tempelhof airport building. The museum is owner of store rooms but there is not yet a public museum area. Transport to Berlin is organized but effective date of exhibition open. Dry storage of the airplane is the first instance.
